Another top month for seaside locations

We all love to be beside the seaside, so it seems, with Scarborough and Skegness being rated top of the UK Property Shop Moving Location Index for June. In May it was the south coast resort towns of Brighton and Newquay that were voted top, but in June it was the turn of the north east of England to prove once again that the places people most like to move to are on the coast. Apart from Cambridge doing well again up at position three, the top 11 places were all grabbed by coastal towns, including Weymouth, Aberdeen, Newquay, Barnstaple, Southport, Truro, Eastbourne and Falmouth. Kenilworth in Warwickshire made a surprise appearance at number 12, with Kirkintilloch on the fringes of Glasgow indicating another unusual flurry of activity around the solicitors and estate agency offices in the area.
