Bank of England keeps interest rates at 4.75%

The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee has voted to maintain the official Bank Rate paid on commercial bank reserves at 4.75%.

The previous change in Bank Rate was an increase of 0.25% to 4.75% on 3rd August 2006.

The minutes of the meeting will be published at 9.30am on Wednesday 18th October.
