A helping hand on the housing ladder
Source: http://www.conservatives.com
Conservatives have unveiled plans to help first-time buyers get a foot on the housing ladder.

Visiting Leeds to highlight the problems facing first time buyers, Caroline Spelman declared: "Conservatives believe in wider home ownership as a matter of social justice. We want to bring down the barriers to getting on the housing ladder, to share prosperity, to give families the scope to grow and to fulfil people's aspirations of having a home of their own."

The Shadow Secretary for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister added: "One of the biggest challenges facing this country is the fact many young people can't afford to buy a home. This is why I will be making a submission to the Policy Groups asking them to consider a new model of regenerating rundown suburban communities, and ways to offer shared ownership schemes to a wider audience."
